Chocolate Peppermint Smoothie


Ingredients:

2 cups of diced turnip or cauliflower

Water

½ tsp peppermint extract

1 tbsp WF Chocolate Sauce

1 chocolate drink

½ tsp of peppermint extract

1 tbsp of WF chocolate sauce

1 cup of water

½ cup of ice

Method:

In a medium saucepan place diced turnip or cauliflower and cover with water. Bring to a simmer and cover and cook for 30 minutes.

Remove from heat, drain off water and cool.

Puree vegetable until smooth and divide in half.

In each serving of pureed vegetable add ½ tsp of peppermint extract, and chocolate sauce. Spoon into ice cube trays and freeze.

Smoothie:

In a blender place 1 cup of water, ½ cup of ice, 1 chocolate drink packet, 1 cup of turnip chocolate peppermint ice, ½ tsp of peppermint extract and 1 tbsp chocolate sauce.

Blend until smooth.
