Rutabaga Fries


1-2 cups rutabaga cut into french fry style pieces

2 tsp grape seed oil

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp minced garlic

1/4 tsp salt

Fresh ground pepper

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line baking sheet with heavy aluminum foil. Peel and slice 1-2 cups of rutabaga into french fry style pieces. In a sealable bag, place 2 tsp of grape seed oil. 1 tsp of smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp minced garlic, 1/4 tsp salt and fresh ground pepper. Seal bag and mix/coat rutabaga well. Place rutabaga on foil lined tray in a single layer, bake for 20 minutes. Turn and bake for 20 minutes more. Remove from oven and enjoy with a serving of sugar free ketchup or home made tartar sauce.
