Ingredients:
8 ounces of lean ground beef
2 minced garlic cloves
1/4 cup diced green onion (phase 4 can use real onions)
Fresh ground pepper
4 cups of beef bone broth
4 cups of any diced vegetables (i.e. 1 cup French green beans, 1 cup of peeled and diced turnips, 1 cup of diced tomatoes, 1 cup of shredded cabbage)
1 diced jalapeño, or other hot pepper of choice
In a large soup pot, brown 8 ounces of lean ground beef with 2 minced garlic cloves and 1/4 cup diced green onion (phase 4 can use real onions ). While browning, add fresh ground pepper. Once browned, add 4 cups of beef bone broth, 4 cups of diced vegetables,1 cup French green beans, 1 cup of peeled and diced turnips, 1 cup of diced tomatoes, and 1 cup of shredded cabbage. Add 1 diced jalapeño, or other hot pepper of choice. Season with additional salt and pepper. The longer you simmer and cook this soup, the better the flavor. Much of the flavor comes from the bone broth. 8 oz protein, 4.25 cups vegetables
