Shrimp Marinade – Hot Lemon Pepper


1 cup of water

¼ cup fresh parsley chopped

1 lemon juiced

3 tablespoons of sugar free hot sauce

3 cloves of garlic – pressed or minced

1 tbsp of tomato paste

2 tsp of dried oregano

1 tsp of salt

1 tsp fresh ground black pepper

¼ tsp red pepper flakes

Maintenance can substitute water with ½ cup of olive oil and ½ cup water


In a mixing bowl, mix together water, parsley, lemon juice, hot sauce, garlic, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well and then reserve ¼ cup of marinade for basting.

Pour marinade into a bag and add your shrimp. Marinate a minimum of 2 hours to 24 hours.

Discard marinade once ready to use the shrimp.

Preheat grill to medium heat.

Thread shrimp onto skewers.

Grill shrimp 4-5 minutes per side, basting with the reserved marinade.
